Come hear from the experts from FEMA and the Florida Department of Community Affairs to learn why it is essential that you, the local planner need to be engaged in pre-disaster planning. Also, find out about a new GIS tool that will enable you to model the disaster ramifications of various land use scenarios. This tool will help you during your upcoming EAR process as well as updating your comprehensive plan. Speakers include: Steven Randolph, FEMA; Maria Cahill, DCA; Hank Erikson, DCA; Charles Gauthier, DCA; Link Walther, Continental Shelf Assoc., Inc.
