The City of Williston seeks a

Community Development and Grants Manager

 

This is a highly responsible professional planning position.  The successful applicant will serve as the City’s primary planner, providing professional and technical expertise in all phases of the City’s planning, zoning and development activities.  This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the use of independent judgement on a regular basis.

 

The successful candidate will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years as a Senior Planner, Planning Manager or similar position, preferably within the State of Florida.  A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

 

The most successful candidates will be thoroughly familiar with planning, zoning and land-use requirements in a municipal setting.  A high degree of customer service is expected in this position, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.  Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is required, as is familiarity with GIS-based applications.

 

The expected salary range is $51,973.19 to $83,157.10, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
