*The Urban Planner/HiAP position is funded by a grant through The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg and is dependent the duration of the grant and conditions outlined in a local agreement between the FL Department of Health, Pinellas County Health Department, and the City of Pinellas Park.
Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in urban planning, architecture, public administration, or related field. Master’s degree in Public Health/Policy preferred. Requires three (3) years progressively responsible planning experience with two (2) years of policy or research experience. One (1) year experience in a lead or supervisory capacity a plus.
Occasional driving required to locations within the City, County, and Tampa Bay region. Requires flexible hours for attendance at City meetings and events. Requires a valid Florida driver license.
